StartX is an educational non-profit that accelerates the development of Stanford’s top entrepreneurs through experiential education & collective intelligence. The goal was to redesign StartX website and their marketing collaterals to cater to key demographics, answer primary questions and drive them to action. Also, optimize user flow in a way that makes most important discoverable within 5 seconds.
By revising the copy to shorter phrases & combining graphical elements, the new proposed flyers have a visually appealing feel. Creating meaning between text and images drives more attention from people. The new flyers led to a 10-15% increase in the applicant pool received at StartX compared to the earlier version of flyers ( second image below)

Lo-fi Mockup
Hi-fi mockup
Based on the feedback got from the lo-fo mockup, the below hi-fi mockup was designed. The task was to design a web interface allowing users to optimize their flow and make information easy to access. Since there was a lot of information to be presented, I envisaged a well-balanced architecture providing users with what they need, when they need it. The final experience was simple, fast, adaptive and intuitive.
